In Her Arms

The days pass by
And I am still alive
The waves come crashing
And I just tell a lie
The world around me is falling
Lives stop in a blink of the eye
She is left in my arms crying
I don’t understand why
With every tear raining
I hold her and die

I see the hope in her eyes
With just a peek
I gaze upon her soul
It rains down her cheek
The world is built to goal
They live and speak
All despite the toll
The waves become streaks
And the truth is told
