If we only could see the mystery

by Aure   Mar 19, 2007

Oh if I could only see
The fallen angel, silver wings
To which silently hidden
A small leprechaun winks

In the shadow of the old forest man
They feel the darkness falling
On the place once a nightingale sang
Evil spirits are calling with unknown words

Raven and a wolves eye
Watching the fairy cry
Her crown white like spirits mist
Her wings blue like a summer sky

Her eyes though are black as the night
They hold oceans so enormously deep
She has seen the smallest creatures creep
In her hands she holds the crystal tight

Behind her the witches run
Into the forest away from the sun
Under her cape she hides
A beautiful creature of the night

And under the old oak tree
There is still so much more to see
Even the wisest person cannot disguise
The secret that there so openly lies

The forces of nature so pure
With her myths and figures
Who are now lost by humanity
Oh if we only could see
