Cold to the touch

by HollywoodSmile   Mar 19, 2007

Your voice

chills my blood
freezes my veins
is as meaningless in tone as wood
is what begins my pain

your face

two icy pools of blue
a soft tongue of warmth
pale skin
a structure so simple, so common
yet causes the birth of complex and cruel feelings

your hands

soft yet rough
glide over my surface
flawlessly

and without you

my corpse is cold
to the touch
