Waiting

I'm tired of waiting

waiting at the doctors

waiting for my mother to accept me

waiting for a better day

I feel like that's all I do

wait

people say time heals everything

bullshit!

I think time just gives more

of an opportunity to be miserable

I'm sick of listening to this

"time is of the essence"

time breaks people down

just as silence does

silence gives people

dare I say it

time

time to get in their own thoughts

and all you can do is

wait

so this circle never ends

as I am stuck waiting

waiting and waiting

for time to pass...
