Touch me tenderly at night
And kiss me gently in the morn,
Hold me when I'm crying
Wake me when I'm worn.

Be there to support me
Experience happiness,
Propose to me so lovingly
Cry when I say yes.

Say "I do" with smiles wide
Shout your praise to all,
Be with me through parenthood
Help me when I fall.

When we're elderly and tired
And 50 years go by,
Look at me and smile
Hold me for all time.
