Distance

The distance is too great.
Not in miles,
But in emotions.
I don't feel anything anymore -
I am numb,
Dying slowly
With no reason left
For me to stay.
Emotionally abused,
Emotionally dead.
An abused heart,
Full of anger and pain,
Is all you have left me with.
So why should I stay?
The answer is:
I don't!
