Sitting Alone

by Broken   Mar 20, 2007

I'm sitting here by myself
But wishing I was with you.
If only you could see in my soul
If only you knew.
Knew how I feel about you
When you're sitting next to me
Or knew how I talk about you
When you're no where to be seen.
I wish you knew how I get chills
At the sound of you voice
Or how when I'm down and out
You drown out all the noise.
I wish you knew I love you
And somehow I think you do.
But maybe you don't care
Or it doesn't matter to you.
I know that Ive hurt you
Time and time again.
And even if you wont take me back
I want you to be my friend.
I love our late night talks
Even when not much is said
I love how I know how you looked
The night that we first met.
I love the way you smile at me
And the way you hold my hand
I love the way when no one can
You tend to understand.
I love they way you look at me
Before you take me away
I love the way you hold me tight
And make me feel so safe.
I love everything about you
And I wish you did me.
But until that day, Ill sit and wait
And show you I am what you need.
