My No-Bone Doggie

by Michelle   Apr 9, 2004

No-bone doggie...
Don't look for a home anymore
My heart overflowing with love
Has opened its door.
You've had sorrow in your past
Yet, so have I
But God meant You for Me
I believe that is why...
It didn't work out for us with someone else
But it will for we two
He wanted us to have a love
That would be forever true.
Heart fixed on distant skies
Think of you with the rain...
Just want to hold you always
Wipe from your mind all past pain.
The sea holds no comparison
For the depth of love that I feel
When I look into your eyes, hear you..
It's so very real.
So your poor lost doggie soul
Has been looking for a home you say?
Well look no more my darling
Since you have passed my way...
I'll take you here inside
Shelter you, fulfill your every need
Will cultivate our love each day
As if it were a tender growing seed...
Will never take for granted the sweet emotion
That you have graciously given me
And will return the same in kind to you
Always offered back freely.

    hey cola girl
ive found a home in you
    my ardour overfloweth
    for our love is true.
    God has blessed our lives
    we`ve weathered our past
i believe in you too babe
    and that we will last.
Yr name is always on my lips
yr faced etched into my mind
you have brought a song to my heart
with these lyrics Oh so kind.
    The depths of the ocean
    simply cannot compare
    next to my adulation
    scepticism be warned, beware!
    Will never doubt this journey
    even in the blackest night
cause my baby has convinced me
    that we win this fight.

Your poems always bolster my belief babe and banish most doubts! ok all doubts then, gonna let you win that one, (jus this once since its easter). You really do `cultivate` this wonderful adventure we both find ourselves walking through at the moment. This heartwarming, compasionate poem has stiffened my resolve, strengthened my faith and reinforced my belief that dreams really do come true. as one door seems to slam shut you never fail to find another, and grasping my hand you lead me through it. this homeless stray will always love you honey and will never forget our beginings. mother superior aint got nothing on you! xxx
