I am standing up and fighting life

A smile spreads across my face,
a tear rolls down my cheek,
i am so filled with joy,
he has made my week,

he admits he loves me,
which makes my life OK,
that is the only thing I've ever wanted,
the only thing for which i would pray,

no reason to be sad,
no reason to be mad,
no reason to have a gutsy feeling,
no more feeling bad,

i am now an eagle,
soaring through the sky,
with my lovely angel,
flying by my side,

my spirit lifted high,
my heart sewn back together,
my rain,
has been turned into sunny weather,

he said i must stop crying,
and stop being so sad,
but i shall change,
if it will make him glad,

he is the one reason,
i shall change into that happy girl,
for if that is what it takes,
for me to be in his world,

no more sadness,
no more crying,
no longer now,
am i dying,

if i don't stop,
i could lose him,
so i am standing up to fight,
no longer will i sit grim,

life can't take me down,
life won't make me fall,
life won't kill my soul,
life won't make me lose my all,

i shall fight,
with my heart and my mind,
when life moves on,
i am not getting left behind,

so with god by my side,
and love too,
i will fight,
this is what i must do,

i have to quit being a wimp,
and fight for my life,
i can't give in,
and turn to a knife,

no more sadness,
no more tears,
i must stop it,
i can't be in pain for years,

life wont bring me down,
life won't make me fall,
life won't kill my soul,
life won't take my all,

it can't bring others down,
but it won't bring with down,
i shall fight,
i shall stand my ground,

if the man i love wants me to change,
i shall and i will save my name,
i no longer,
with hide in the shadow with tears of shame,

i shall let my eyes shine,
let my personality shine through,
i will win this fight,
no matter what i must do,

you all may help,
you can stick to my side,
together we will kill the dark forces,
which killed me inside,

a brand new day is to come,
the sun is shining bright,
and i am letting you all know,
i am going to start and fight...............
