Losses

by The Queen of Spades   Mar 20, 2007

A wish on a star
Makes a fool
To close one's heart
Creates a rule
So the lies within
Do not surround
Emotion flies away
Without a sound
Then the soul, it sails
Without a charter
For the body becomes
A forgotten martyr
Disappear, they will
The hopes and dreams
Like wishes, prayers
Ripped at the seams
So the bruises, sores
Take over the battered
'Til there is nothing left
Though, not like it mattered
