    Great metaphors. It adds a vibrant spark. And very good ending. It ties it off well

    Great poem!
    I loved it!
    My fav part was:

    "Let him go,
    He's not worth it,
    Not worth the pains,
    You get with him;
    It's not true."

    So cute and wonderful poem

    An excellent poem, very deep and meaningful. The imagery was phenomenal as well in this piece, there were so many parts I wanted to pick out and place that I loved, but there are just too many! Fabulous job, this definitely one of my favorites I've read from you!

    Not surprisingly I didn't like the subject matter. Which naturally makes me want to vomit. Ha, love is such a silly thing to write about.

    However. I think this poem deals with things others have left out on the subject. I won't bore with too many details. Just the generals. I find most writers, tend to put into love poems what makes them sound deep or an expert on the subject and what it should be like. I found a striking open nature to this poem which almost seems to admit the writer knows she has not really fathomed it completely but doesn't care and although the poem picks its moments to hit you with its darker tones it definately seems to give itself that deep down feeling of a writer pushing through and generally enjoying things. Its that kind of open attitude that I picked up on in this poem and as I got further in I realised it was welcoming feeling, one I hadn't felt since reading early Frost poems for the first time.

    I'm not comparing and by no means catagorising, just saying, thats how I felt, that is surely a good thing.

    In fact for a long poem it seemed to just ride past. A welcome change to the drivel usually spouted on the subject. I will admit I went through a few of your poems and didn't feel the same at all. I'm not sure what mood you were in or what gave wings to this poem instead of the legs of your others but you should go back to it.

    Thats my opinion and mine alone.
