A wish is cast on a sunny day,
Hoping once again that it may end.
As if feeling my fourteenth plea,
Provides another stranger with a familiar face.
He might be one of those other lads,
The ones whose intentions you never really grasp.
But who am I to judge?
Once again I let life take its course.
The familiar stranger breaks into a friendly smile.
Irresistibly I send an even friendlier smile.
Life has its own way of reuniting darkness and light.
But even in nestled ideas,
the heart says you never know till you try.
