The one in the clownsuit

by MorbidCupcake   Mar 21, 2007

You're such a good actor
You're sad when theres laughter
Why do you cover up the real you
Faking it, you're being untrue

Who cares what he says
Do just the opposite
Rebel against all he wants
Till you're only pleasing you

I may be still finding myself
But you're the one who really needs help
You sit there with no expression
Just so no one senses your depression
You make me cry when you say you're through
Telling me you have nothing left to do
If you pull the trigger
You wont be just hurting you
The one in the clown suit

The words they say don't mean anything
I cant leave you here to die away
Ill be here forever, cuz I'm your nothing
But don't just waste away
And throw away
Every year, every memory
You've built up till the day
You stop saying your prayers

I may be still finding myself
But you're the one who really needs help
You sit there with no expression
Just so no one senses your depression
You make me cry when you say you're through
Telling me you have nothing left to do
If you pull the trigger
You wont be just hurting you
The one in the clown suit

I think its time you let down your defense
Hiding your thoughts doesn't make sense
Id do anything to keep you here, us together
If it meant you wouldn't sleep forever
Ill be your sweet surrender
Stay here please
