Goodbye Grandma

The first time,
you looked at me,
my smile grew larger.

the first time,
you touched me,
my skin became warm.

the first time,
i lost myself in your beautiful eyes,
i reliezed then that your were my grandma forever

and then there was the time,
i lost you to God,
i cried, and cried,
until my eyes dried out.

but i relieze now,
that you are gone,
but still with me.

no matter where i go,
you will be there.

where ever i sleep,
you stand at my bedside,
keeping me safe and warm,
comforting me in my dreams.

you are gone,
we no longer see you.

but i know in my heart,
that God loves you just as much as i do.
