I've faked a thousand smiles
I've told a thousand lies.
I've been used and thrown away
a thousand different times

I would walk a thousand miles
bare-foot in the snow
just to take back what was mine
because I had to let it go

I've felt a thousand touches
but in the end, no one was there
I've been told a thousand times
that nobody even cares

I've cried a thousand tears
I've sang a thousand songs
I've done a thousand right things
but also a thousand wrongs

I made a thousand wishes
but none of them came true
I've met a thousand people,
and they were all just like you.

* I guess this was just my way of saying people are all the same. you may think someone's different but somehow they'll prove you wrong, i guess*
