Helping hand

There's a fog in my mind

Thats like a big black veil

It prevents me from seeing past my worries, fears, and doubts

I need someone to take my hand and lead me through

Help chase away my fears and reassure my doubts

Tell me everything good about who i am

It is hard for me to understand whats good

When this fog is like a hood

So help me to realize the truth about me

All i feel like is an ugly waste of space and air

But show me that you really care and i can overcome

Somebody just hold me tight

Because right now life is one big fright

And i really need a helping hand
