Families are rough
and life is wrong
but through it all
we stand together strong

you were there for me
as i was for you
and thats the way it will stay
through and through

you are grown up now
and it makes me sad
for i know you'll leave
and face the bad

ill admit it now
that i don't want you to go
but i realize
you'll make it through

i just wish that you
could stay by me
even though you are grown up
and become somebody

you are a perfect sister
so i know you will do fine
just as long as you listen to your heart
like i do mine

so I'm telling you now
that i love you
not just as a sister
but as a friend too
