I'm sorry

by mike magyar   Mar 22, 2007

I'm sorry for what I did
I know it was wrong
I knew that I would mess up
I knew this day would come along

Don't pretend everything's ok
Don't show me your fake smile
I want you to know
That I know what I did was juvenile

I don't wanna take you back
I know you don't want me too
Because of what you did before
I should have done the same to you

Don't blame yourself
When you know it was me
Love has made me blind
And I wasn't able to see

I shouldn't have made
The mistakes I've done
I wish I could go in the past
And make certain things undone

You throw me away at one mistake
When you've made more
I messed up once and you pull the latch
While I'm over this trap door

I'm sorry for what happened
I don't wanna take you back
Because I don't wanna put ourselves in misery
And have our hearts repeatedly crack

I look at the night sky
It's beautiful and starry
And I think to myself and say
"I miss her, and I'm truly sorry"
