Midnight Fires

by Unrequited   Mar 22, 2007

Your heart bleeds pictures.

sweet morning stones hiding beneath your eyes;
they glisten within midnight fires, exhaling passion into forsaken air.

passing smiles stop with shattered silence, a moments glance into your past: a suffering shadow.

sun-lit hair breeching boarders of beauty; surpassing goodness, reaching perfection.
as one, these strands become the golden star.

your heart bleeds pictures.
they spark a flame, creating love to drown my sorrow.
i surrender my spirit to receive my joy,
to split apart the scars in the sky-
love conquers all.

my heart bleeds your picture.
together we breathe,
forever we burn.
your midnight fires live within,
and our love will never die.
