I promised I would stay,
But I lied.
I wasn't sure why,
But I cried.

I feel empty inside,
Because you're no longer here.
I can almost feel you,
You seem so near.

Even when I was sad
You could always make me laugh.
All that's left of us now
Are the memorable photographs.

All night on the phone
With our long talks.
In the pouring rain
With our long walks.

The thunder and lightening storms
How much fun we had.
How quickly we made up,
And could never stay mad.

All the good meamories
Are becoming a blurr.
I want things back
To the way they were.

I realize what I had.
I hope I'm not too late.
For the first time
I'll trust fate.

We belong together
This I know is true.
Can I have one last chance
To spend eternity with you?
