Darkness floods me,
Why cant you see?!
As the blade slides down,
I remember the town,
The way it was before,
Without the nails on the door.
It was, by chance, they discovered,
The truth that had been mothered.
The blade pierces my skin,
I know this is a deadly sin.
But it seems like an escape,
From all the crime and rape.
Its gotten within the walls,
The deafening uproars.
My screams are barely heard,
This is utterly absurd.
Forget time,
Forget crime,
Forget friends,
Forget all ends.
Remember the life,
Remember the strife,
Remember the smiles,
Keep them in files!
