The days have been hard

The days have been hard
trying not to think of you
this has everyone feeling so blue
it hit us like a bomb
when we seen your dad and mom
crying as the angels sang a sweet sweet song
tears of sadness flooded our face
as family talked of the past with sadness in their voice
our hearts raced
a blast of sobs filled the room for everyone knew the gloom
so yes its hard to move on
and sing a brand new song
for it wasn't that long ago
when you were putting on a show
to make us smile
now we look down that lonely stretch of mile
where our friend was taken from us
yes we still cry
there are good days and bad
because you were the best we ever had!
