Slowly the rain comes down
looking out the window they smile
they rush outside like little kids
dancing in the puddles
the kick the water up
splashing each other
he quickly grabs her waist
holding her he smiles,
gives he a kiss and whispers
"we'll be together as long as there is rain."
she smiles with a laugh
whispering in his ear
"that was so corny."
"but it was sweet."
she nods in agreement and kisses him
he sets her back on the ground
and they continue their play date in the rain
