Wings slightly bent

by Georgia   Mar 22, 2007

My secret angel with wings slightly bent
i know its my fault each of my problems would create a dent
in your wings once so strong
i know they have not got to long

i know you say it does not matter
but each tear i cry you will slowly crack you until you shatter
the more i try to push the tighter you hold
how did i grow so cold

with each hug i feel slightly stronger
like this pain will last no longer
with each tear you wipe away
it give me strength to carry in each and every day

i know when my world is about to end
you will be there to piece it back together to heal the wounds make sure they mend
i want to make it better
i want to hold you tight
one day i will make it right
one day ill be your angel with wings to wound

The title drew me in. I liked how you showed that someone was there for you through think and thin and how you desire to return the favor.
