GRANDPA I LOVE YOU

Grandpa i love you and i always will.
It makes me so sad to see you so sick,
I wonder why you were gods pick?
maybe because you were such a good man Or maybe because he has his own little plan.
whatever it is it's hard to see you this way,
do u remember when we used to play? or when we used to sit and talk all day?
i don't know what I'll do without you, or if i will ever get by.
Everybody tells me its going to happen sooner or later i don't want to have to sat good-bye.
i know that you will be alto happier and alto less confused,
But when it comes time for me to say my last good-bye, i will think to myself and remember that god has a plan and everything will work out in the end.
i just want you to know that i will love you forever and always.

DAVID NEWELL BOSTON JR.
MY GRANDPA WAS DIAGNOSED WITH EARLY ONSET ALZHEIMERS AT THE AGE OF 57 AND HE DIED MARCH 13, 2004.
GRANDPA I LOVE YOU AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU WERE MY EVERYTHING!!! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!

    my grandpa is diagnosed with prostate cancer and they said they got it out but it wasnt and he has it again and now he has bone cancer...which u cant cure and now he is not eating and its all cus my grandma passed away 4yrs ago and he thinks its his turn so i defiently know how you feel and i am sorry!! love much brit

    I have a death in my family too. If I miss my grandpa, I listen to the song My Immortal.

    this is an awesome expression of emotion... very well done!

    Is there a reason you double submitted it rather than just editing it? I couldn't find any major differences in the poem itself, just wondering if I'm missing something.

    Again, it's an excellent poem... and I'm sorry for your loss...
