Black and white
thats the phrase used defining bland
boring and quietly clear times isn't it

times when life's simple and uneventful
without purpose or point
and meaning very hard to find

sometimes it takes a fresh person to fill the gap
re-light the spark of happiness
and bring back the smile you thought was lost

fill in the colors all around
letting you feel a wealth of moods again
because joy isn't truly appreciated until you've felt pain

bringing the colors with her filling your life again
red for lust and love
green for peace
yellow for happiness
and blue for trust and security

shes colorful
shes beauty you could never even imagine
shes strength holding everyone together
and shes a reason to living all locked into one body

and since she entered my life
no more have i lonely sleepless nights
no more am i filled with worry about the future
no more is life hiding the meaning from me
no more black and white
shes filled my life with color
