Why lie

You think you love someone when really you don't know what love is

you think you know someone when really you know nothing about them

you think you are happy when really inside you hurt

you think all is right when really everything is going wrong

people smile when they want to frown

people laugh instead of cry

people lie to make others happy although inside they still are sad

why do people act the way they do

people live life to please others instead of pleasing themselves

while you think about this you know inside its true

you still will lie to others when you want to tell the truth
