Although he really wanted to,
he knew she wasn't ready.

He loves to hear her voice.

who always goes out of his way,
so she feels that she is special.
He knows the perfect things to say.

Here's to the boy...
who broke down all her walls.
16 years of building...
He holds her...and it falls.

Here's to the boy...
who changed the way she thought.
Showed her that he really cares,
and helped her leave her past to rot.

Here's to the boy...
that helped her forget.
Forget some of the hurtful memories,
and some times of regret.

Here's to the boy...
that helped her so much.
And all it really took,
was a sweet soft touch.

Here's to the boy...
that I'd give up my life for.
I'd do anything for him.
Anything and more.

Here's to the boy...
that owns my heart.
Forever I'll let him keep it.
