"hurtful words"

Standing there listening to you scream at me
I'll never forget those words you said
you looked me straight in the eye and said
"You're nothing"
you don't know how much that hurt me,
maybe you didn't hit me but, you abused me with your words
it's like the words were cutting me with a knife
while you watched the blood slowly drip down
I'm scarred for life because of what you said
every time I go to do something
I think back to those words
"YOU'RE NOTHING"
repeating over and over in my head
the wounds will never heal
My dreams in life are shattered
they slipped right through my fingers
that day you said those words
all my faith is now gone
Never thought two words would make a difference?
like I wouldn't care
well, your wrong
never can take back those words you once said
and I never can forget them
