I'll watch you drive away

by deadbeatromance   Mar 23, 2007

You say you gotta go.
You just can't take it anymore,
there's nothing left for you here.
I'm not the same girl you fell in love with,
So I'll watch you drive away,
leaving me in the dust.
But you were the one,
who changed me.
You made the smile disappear from my lips.
You made the light in my eyes darken.
You made the fire in my soul die.
You changed me
But I'll watch you drive away,
knowing I'm better off,
because of it.
