Little Girl and Your Tears

by Twisted Heart   Mar 23, 2007

Little girl,
I see you crying
As you sit upon the ground
Tears falling
From your sadden eyes
Soft whimpers, the only sound

As you sit
I see you searching
There among the silent stars
Hoping for
someone to come
And tell you who you are.

Now I see
You have been broken
And your heart is very weak
Your soul is
full of doubts and fears
The pain is yours to keep.

Little girl
You have a hunger
Its more than you can bear
No changing
Of the moments
Or the memories you shared.

You feel lost
Inside the darkness
Of a hole to big to mend
I know the pain
That you are feeling
For I've been there, my friend.

So a teardrop
falls with grace
Upon your cheek so fair
A constant
To the hurt you feel
Inside your heart it tears.

Little girl
Though you are weeping
In your pain there comes relief
To all the loss
You're feeling now
The tears will stay your grief.

A comforting
That gives you peace
Inside your soul that died
Blanketing
The brokenness
With each new tear you cry.

Aweh that was sad, and what's even sadder about it is that this is the reality of many young childrens' lives, society has become so messed up and it's horrid..but you wrote this magnificently, I don't even know what else to write because nothing I do will give this what it truly deserves.

Very sad. It made me want to cry.
It reminded me of a song called 'Little Girl' I forget who sings it though. :/
