When I met you, I knew you were my future.
When I met you, I didn't have to look any further.
When I met you, my prayers were answered.

I have lived my life for your happiness.
I believed your happiness was mine.
I believed if I lived my life for you, I would be fulfilled.

I have come to realize that my happiness doesn't depend on you.
I have come to realize that you can't make me happy because I need you to.
I have come to realize that happiness doesn't have to be a struggle.

I believed that we were meant to be together.
I believed that when you'd look into my eyes you'd see in me what I see in you.
I believed you would want to be my everything.

I have come to realize that my happiness is within me.
I have come to realize that my happiness is feeling like you.
