The heart broken ghost

by thing3   Mar 23, 2007

The icy fingerprints on the door handle,
the cold, pale face in the mirror,
the faint sound of breathing against the window pane,
dark, deep eyes looking out into a sea of mist, history repeating itself,
but all is invisible to the naked eye.

the death that shocked so many,
no-one dared to enter the house on the hill,
but if only they would pay attention to the evidence under their noses,
all would be clear and the truth would be out.

she sits there, waiting for him,
but all was in vain,
nobody would ever think,
that a broken heart was to blame.

this is something i wrote in english. only had a minute to do it.
