More pain than fun

We were so close today
all the pain just went away
laughing as we entered the shops
hoping that this never stops

it was hard to accept you
at first it didn't seem true
but then i got too fearful
knowing this would turn tearful

its not very often we go out
we return home for you to shout
it was OK having a mum
but its more pain than fun
