For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he pass'd;
And the eyes of the sleepers wax'd deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still

  • OMG...i hate it and i love it...i hate it because it speaks of a simple dying truth that we sometimes try to avoid but have to face...and strangely i love it because of the same reason...it's makes me so sad...and so angry because death is uncaring of it's victim and takes away life in a milisecond...great poem!
