The Savior's Steeple

by Weeping Wolf   Mar 24, 2007

This. This is fear.
Running.
Running.
Running.
Heart Pounding
Legs Shaking
Breath..gasping...

Oh and what of this pain?
What of these iron chains?
Nobody even knows its her life
Thats going down today.

Grasping.
Reaching.
Fighting For
Life.
Tears Blinding
Tears.
Running.
Tears.
they just...won't stop coming.

hiding under the shadow of the steeple
with all the lost souls and lonely people
freeing herself from a demon's cage
escaping the hands of a sinner's rage

This is how...
This is where...
she looked up
and saw the sun...was shining.
Oh. Thank. God.
How I Love Him.

[Now shes in the light of the Savior's steeple]
[For how much, He cared, and loved his people]
