Young Love (Collab)

by End Of Eternity   Mar 24, 2007

The very first time i met him
I was a shy girl, only four
Dirt on his face, missing teeth
The worst thing he lived next door

Little princess with pig tails
Green eyes lightening my life
Want to be the first in this block
To have her right by my side

Turning ten, i always hid
He followed where ever I'd go
Calling me names, pulling my hair
For his friends, putting on a show

Wanting me around her all the time
Loved playing hide & seek with me
Friends always knew she's my girl
Somehow things were not that easy

When I finally turned thirteen
My feelings for him had changed
Now he was hiding from me
Surprise meetings I would arrange

My town has many pretty faces
Wasted time running after one
Time changed every girl I know
Bets made, breaking hearts such fun

Put on my make-up fixed my hair
Sixteen having my first date
Visions of him kissing me
Dad yelling "Better not be late"

Time has come to shock my friends
Years of patience has finally paid
Kisses will be blown everywhere
With my dream girl, I'll get laid

Looking back on our first date
Thought you'd get your way with me
Didn't count on buying me a ring
Before my goods I'd let you see

Always knew you'd be my wife
The first time you smiled at me
When I saw little girl next door
I knew together we'd always be
