Nature's Splendor

by Rachel RTVW   Mar 24, 2007

Cascading falls, nature's splendor,
Waves crashing, rocks surrender.
Forest surrounds mountain's face,
Flowers bloom displaying grace.

Calming nostalgia within it's breeze,
Whispers Spring through the trees.
Scents alone can mesmorize,
Cirrus blankets clear blue skies.

Thankful for my sight and sound,
That my feet can walk this ground.
For granted many things are taken,
Realized when gone, what we've forsaken.

You have a wonderful talent on description! You painted a beautiful image in my mind. Your vocabulary is soooo strong! I need to work on mine. Your rhyming was perfect nothing seemed forced at all. Beautiful work. I really liked this part:

-I'm very glad you have taken a liking to my poetry.. lol .. i was surprized at first when someone commented them... i usually have to ask. By the way.. the poems about pain and cutting themselves.. i just write them expressing emotions others feel, i personally don't cut myself :) If you want a little ... wait don't want to give it away. Read Do I Know You? .. of course I always return the favor ;)
