What a beautiful picture you have created with your words.

Thankful for my sight and sound,
and that my feet can walk this ground.
For granted many things are taken,
Realized when gone, what we've forsaken.

    How true this stanza is.
    Love Cindy

This is a great poem. I use to take so many thigs for granted till I lost my Dad and my Mom became ill. Things like this I would give anything for her to feel again.

Thankful for my sight and sound,
and that my feet can walk this ground.
For granted many things are taken,
Realized when gone, what we've forsaken.

    Great poem!

You have a wonderful talent on description! You painted a beautiful image in my mind. Your vocabulary is soooo strong! I need to work on mine. Your rhyming was perfect nothing seemed forced at all. Beautiful work. I really liked this part:

-I'm very glad you have taken a liking to my poetry.. lol .. i was surprized at first when someone commented them... i usually have to ask. By the way.. the poems about pain and cutting themselves.. i just write them expressing emotions others feel, i personally don't cut myself :) If you want a little ... wait don't want to give it away. Read Do I Know You? .. of course I always return the favor ;)
