Mysterious creature

by Spam   Apr 10, 2004

Looking out the window at the world.
The frost coats the grass like a blanket.
There lies the footprints of that creature.
That creature, so mysterious.
One day it will be my friend.

The warmth in my body has frozen.
My heart shattered in pieces.
Totally alone in the world.
Where is that mysterious creature now?
I need it's comfort.
I need to hear it's song.

Years have passed.
Seen the sun, seen the moon.
But nothing of that mysterious creature.
Felt snow, hail and rain.
But nothing of those beautiful feathers.
I feel I am slowly melting.
I want to feel alive again.

Losing control of my actions.
Slowly going insane.
Alone. All alone.
I want to feel alive again.
That mysterious creature is still with me.
In spirit, not in mind.
If only he would come back to me.
I need him to be here with me.

Suddenly, there's that beautiful music.
It's sound enlightens my soul.
He has come back to me.
That mysterious creature.
No longer am I cold.
I feel again.
Feel those magnificent feathers.
I feel warm.
I feel my soul coming back to me.
