Death

by Alex   Mar 25, 2007

Stands undefeated on the battlefield,
to no nothing does it yield.
Kills everybody, but fights no-one,
Alone it will be, when everything is gone.
Never seen but always there,
As an opponent so unfair
making not a sound, quietly it creeps
Until suddenly................it leaps!
Working at a steady pace,
Leaving scars on every face
Never will it discriminate,
Many fear or maybe hate
Its far reaching hand
Stretching and spanning every land
Millions, lie in its wake
You life, free for it to take
Death, it conquers all.

Death doesn't discriminate...we are all equal in front of it..It's the power that cannot be beaten or conquered..
