Moms little angel

The Lord gave you a gift
it your spirits did lift
she was beautiful just like you
when God gave you something new
He took it back so soon
he said when he took that
beautiful baby girl he did give
" this baby here wont live
but with me is where she belongs
were to me she will sing songs
but don't worry, for you she will look upon
from morning to dawn
you had her for a bit,
she, your spirit lit
in heaven her to you again I'll give
until then she with me will live"
till the day your heavenly bodies will be reunited
she is up there, oh so fare with her spirit lightened
she is in heaven dancing with the angels
and your heart when upset will untangle
for just remember as your earthly body is here
shes in heaven looks down on you from up there
smiling down at you
as she smiles at her mommy, yes she knows its you.
God may have taken his one daughter back to him
but don't let that your spirit dim
for he gave you three more of his heavenly gifts
and each time you look at them let your spirit to him lift.
