Alchohol

by Romancing the Darker Side   Mar 25, 2007

A smell of liquor is in the air
You struggle under two cases of beer
You stagger off to get drunk
This is my worst fear

He takes sips slowly
You just guzzle right down
That smile with a triple chin
Quickly turns into a frown

You fall asleep, or so we thought
He sneaks out once again
Going to Charlie's, getting high
This tension must remain

It tears us apart, dreaded,
Like pain
I step into the darkness
As it begins to rain

It washes away memories
Of you and alchohol
You refuse to admit your problem
But it's the most obvious of them all
