Mirror

by Raychil   Mar 25, 2007

I see everything you see
At least when you're in front of me
I just see from another view
I see every part of you

Sometimes I see sadness
Sometimes I see cries
Sometimes I see pain
Held within your eyes

Sometimes I see anger
Sometimes I see rage
Sometimes I see you hide it
Masked as a blank page

Sometimes I see you happy
Sometimes I see you smile
Sometimes you fly right past me
Sometimes you stay a while

I see you not as imperfect
I see you not as a star
I see you not like society does
I see you for who you are

I see everything you see
I see the you in front of me
Only for me things come clearer
Though I am simply your house-hold mirror.

Beautifully written and spoken with true heart. I liked the point of view from this poem, as a object instead of a person, it came out intriuging and not like an average poem. You did excellent to portray your message, and I bet everyone can relate to it. I loved it. And thank you for your kind words, I am starting up writing again - I guess sometime's Writer's Block can just keep you away from you're one and only escape. But I'm glad to be back, and you'll defintely see more from me :]
