To My Love

If ever two was one

Surely it is we

If ever one has loved

Surely it is you and me

If ever man be happy

Let it be with woman

I praise they love more

Than all the riches in thy world

No mounds of gold doth compare

To such love as we

Nor river Nor stream

Cast such love that is free

If ever we shall parish

If ever come a choice

Then pray our love be eternal

Eternity set us free

    The rhyming scheme is done well, but it does not feel to me like the poem is done, it should have more things added to show why the love between is ever lasting and true.
