Depression

Depression makes you feel like,
There is a heavy weight on your back,
And good feeling and strength,
Is what you always lack,

It feels like a struggle,
To get out of bed each day,
But you have to pretend nothing is wrong,
You hide your sadness away,

You feel like you haven’t slept for a year,
Your body feels tired,
And bad thought in your head,
Is what you fear,

It makes you want to give up life,
You feel drained and sick all the time,
It brings back all your strife,

Until you experience depression,
You will never know how I feel,
Depression is a enemy,
And slowly it kills.
