I hide away from people like you
thinking you know what i have been through
thinking you know the best of me
but I'm dead inside why can't you see
I hide my feelings because people don't care
my tortured soul feels its not fair
they can't see who i am inside
with all the love I've been denied
it's always my fault i get the blame
but yet somehow you feel no shame
