am i the reason for the price you're forced to pay

am i the thing that turned you cold

am i the only one you can't create
am i the reason you run and hide
am i the reason you're stuck inside
this world of misery where you can only cry
am i the reason for all you try
you can fail more times than you can count
but i love you more than any amount
am i the reason for your passionate crime
am i the only one that is there on time
before you do something please think back
to when your mind went off track
and whether i was the reason for you at all
or whether you heard a desperate call
am i the reason you help people too
am i the only one that sees you through
am i the only one who really cares
or has the compassion for the pain you bear
am i the reason for what you created
or the violent poem that you stated
answer me just one last thing
am i the cause for the pain you bring
