Because You Were Gay

by TWiStEDxElAGANCE   Mar 26, 2007

My God, people can be so dumb
I want to hit each and every one
Who ever said something to you
That made you do what you chose to do

You left a message on my phone
But I was at work, I wasn't home
So tomorrow in a casket you'll lay
All because you were gay

How could you think you weren't wanted?
Because of the names and how they taunted.
But I don't understand how you forgot
We were there for you and we would have fought
We would have fought for your life
Me, your sister, and your friends
We fought for you until the end
But they still make fun of you to this day
All because you were gay

And I want you to know you didn't have to leave that way
You had us all to lift you up
But i guess you felt that wasn't enough
