I'm sorry I'm not strong
The way that I should be

I'm sorry I'm not tough
The way I need to be

I'm sorry I'm not trusting,
The way a child can be

I'm sorry I cry easily
The way I shouldn't be

I'm sorry I'm not as pretty
As you would like me to be

I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
The way you wish me to be

But I'm just a girl
And thats all I'll ever be
